Enhanced Compounds is a new entrant to the rubber mixing industry with a plan to disrupt a traditional market using proven, patented mixing technology.
Seed financing in 2019 enabled the company to develop its RM range of systems specifically to meet the needs of rubber compounders and obtain results from real customer compounds.
A first round of financing is now under way to expand the toll-processing and trialling capability to production scale from its current pilot scale.
The Opportunity
Rubber compounding (mixing) is an industry with technology that has changed little in the last 100 years. Dealing with complex materials with many ingredients and often critical performance requirements, compounders are reluctant to change their fundamental mixing approach, especially given the huge investments made in existing plant. However, the ability to post-process material to improve performance and efficiency is a very attractive proposition.
Enhanced Compounds is offering the industry a way of accessing the latest mixing technology to solve a number of existing problems. The ability to do this via leased equipment or toll processing removes the capital barriers for customers and reduces their risk. No wonder the market is getting excited about it!
As an investment opportunity, we are offering equity for the financial raise but we are flexible on this, depending on the type of investors coming on board. For instance, contributions from industrial partners, who may bring something different to the business, would also be welcomed.
